Roundtable Rural Development in the Context of the European Green Deal, 3rd Edition

A few months after the adoption of the Action Plan for the implementation of the National Strategy on the Circular Economy, economic research and practice are challenged to find solutions for the transition from a linear economic model to a circular one. In this transition, the evolution of economic and social capital can no longer be separated from the impact that human activity has on the natural environment. The numerous health, climate, energy and political crises in Europe make resilience the new compass by which European Union policies are guided, and circularity, a new way of thinking and acting.

The main objective of the scientific event to which we invite you is the challenge that this context exerts on the resilience-sustainability-circularity trinomial in the case of rural development.

Representatives from the academic and university environment, from public administration and the business environment are invited to the meeting, to address theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of rural space in the context of sustainable development policies.
