The staff of the “Gheorghe Zane” Institute of Economic and Social Research, Romanian Academy, Iași Branch, pays a final tribute to Academician Bogdan Simionescu, Vice President of the Romanian Academy (2014-2022), President of the Romanian Academy, Iași Branch (2012-2014), Director of the “Petru Poni” Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of the Romanian Academy (2000-2014), prestigious scholar, a consummate professional and a prominent personality of the academic community in the country and abroad. We regret his passing and stand with the bereaved family.
