The Philosophy and Political Theory Collective of the “Gheorghe Zane” Institute for Economic and Social Research expresses its deep regret for the disturbing disappearance of Professor George Bondor.

George Bondor was an important figure in the Philosophy Department of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences in Iași. A remarkable professor, with clear thinking and attractive expression, George Bondor guided and influenced several generations of philosophy students. His book, The Dance of the Masks, remains a reference in the Romanian philosophical space. George Bondor was, at the same time, a good colleague and a selfless friend. We convey our condolences to the bereaved family, with whom we stand.
