Agro-Economics and Rural Anthropology Symposium (SAAR)

Dear colleagues, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the Agro-Economy and Rural Anthropology Symposium, 3rd Edition, on November 18, 2022, organized by the Gh Zane Institute for Economic and Social Research, Romanian Academy, Iași Branch, in partnership with the Rural Development Research Platform Association, the “Gheorghe Ionescu-Șișești” Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences Bucharest – Section of Agrarian Economics and Rural Development and the “King Michael I of Romania” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Banat in Timișoara.

  • Consumer behavior;
  • Rural anthropology;
  • Rural migration;
  • Gender studies;
  • Rural anthrozoology;
  • Rural visual anthropology;
  • Rural tangible and intangible heritage;
  • Rural socio-linguistics;
  • History and historiography in rural areas;
  • Rural development policies and strategies;
  • Ethics and axiology in rural areas;
  • The influence of the COVID-19 pandemic in rural areas.

Deadlines:

November 5, 2022 – Sending abstracts in Romanian and English (approximately 250 words, authors, affiliation, keywords), to the address sebastianbruma1978@gmail.com

01.05.2023 – Sending the full paper, in Romanian, for review with a view to publication, to the address sebastianbruma1978@gmail.com

The abstracts of the papers will be published on the symposium website and the full papers will be published in the collective volumeAgro-Economy and Rural Anthropology, Third Edition, published by Presa Universitară Clujeană, 2023.

The symposium will be held online.
