Alina Botezat – Visiting Researcher at Università degli Studi della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, Italy
From May 9 to August 3, 2024, Dr. Alina Botezat was a Visiting Researcher at the Università degli Studi della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, Italy, within the Department of Economics, at the invitation of Prof. dr. Ida Camminatiello.
In collaboration with Prof. dr. Ida Camminatiello and other researchers, Dr. Alina Botezat initiated two research projects. The first project, entitled “Literature Mapping on Skills Mismatch and Entrepreneurship”, was presented at the Knowledge Management in the Development of a Global Scientific Community conference, which took place in Rome, at Tor Vergata University, on May 17, 2024. It is currently being finalized and is to be published in a specialized journal indexed in the Web of Science.
The second project, entitled “Disentangling Skill Mismatch Inequalities: A Comparative Analysis of European Union Member States”, is in the documentation and development phase and will be presented at the ICSA 2025 conference, which will take place in Florence, Italy, in January 2025.
Also, on June 3, 2024, she held a scientific seminar within the Department of Economics, where she presented the paper “Tracking Deferral and Health in Old Age: The Impact of Education Reforms in the Former Eastern Bloc”.
The collaboration between Dr. Alina Botezat and the Università degli Studi della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” will continue based on a partnership recently concluded between the Romanian Academy, Iași Branch (ARFI), and the Italian university, which aims to develop joint research projects and promote academic exchanges.
