International mobility at JRC Seville, European Commission

During November 25-29, 2024, Dr. Alina Botezat participated in an international mobility at the Joint Research Centre (JRC), European Commission, in Seville, for the research internship on the topic Familiarization with EUROMOD: Exploring fiscal policy functions and microsimulation techniques.

During the visit, Alina Botezat had the opportunity to gain practical experience with EUROMOD, the microsimulation model of fiscal benefits at the EU level.

At the invitation of her colleagues from the JRC, Alina Botezat delivered a lecture on the topic Delaying Academic Tracking through Education Reforms: Long-term Effects on Health in Old Age in the Former Eastern Bloc during the internal seminar.

The trip was carried out within the framework of a mobility obtained at the Mobility Projects for Researchers (MC 2024) competition, project ID PN-IV-P2-2.2-MC-2024-0007, funded by UEFISCDI.
