National Scientific Symposium The Paradigm of Consciousness – Multi- and Interdisciplinary Approaches, 5th Edition: Spirituality and/or Artificial Intelligence
The symposium is dedicated to debating the influences that both spirituality and artificial intelligence have on everyday life. In a world where artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly present and influential, and where spirituality continues to have a fundamental importance in people’s lives, this symposium aims to bring together thinkers, researchers and practitioners to discuss and explore the deep connections between these two seemingly distinct, yet closely interconnected fields.
The symposium is aimed at specialists from the social sciences, humanities and exact sciences who can make theoretical or empirical contributions to the analysis of the impact of spirituality and artificial intelligence, as well as the implications of this relationship for optimizing individual and collective functioning. As guidelines for the topics that can be addressed in this symposium, we propose the following, specifying that they are not exclusive: the contribution of artificial intelligence to spiritual understanding and development, the impact of digital technologies on spiritual and religious experiences, the ethics of using artificial intelligence in the context of spiritual and philosophical practices, the role of psychology in understanding the spiritual aspects of human existence, exploring the concepts of consciousness and synesthesia in the context of artificial intelligence, the philosophical implications of the development of AI technology in relation to human nature and spiritual existence.
