ICES-4.3 Project: Digitalization, Sustainability and Resilience in Euroregional Development

Descrierea proiectuluiProject Description

The development of the Euroregional partnership is a long process, not without obstacles. Regarding the cross-border cooperative structure, the Siret – Prut – Nistru Euroregion is currently presented as a modern and efficient instrument of collaboration for the purpose of improving the quality of life, environmental protection and mutual understanding in the regional space. The contribution that a person can make by applying in practice the skills acquired in order to improve the processes, products and services in the geographical space of the Siret-Prut-Nistru Euroregion becomes more important than physical work. Cooperation in this framework consists in creating direct and permanent links between regions and communities located on either side of the state borders, by virtue of the competences of local authorities and in accordance with national legislation. The proposed subject is a concern of the researcher. The current changes generated, in particular, by the introduction of digitization, the need for resilience and sustainability require the continuation of previous research adapted to the current reality. The research results will be condensed into proposals for measures to resolve (euro)regional imbalances generated by adaptation to digitalization, the need for resilience and sustainability.
